A warm, welcoming and amazing little cafe in Belfast. I have been to Maggie Mays an uncountable times. It has never disappointed me in terms of food and service. They offer amazing breakfasts and are very flexible in swapping a pancake for an extra sausage, you know what I mean. Even the other dishes like Lasagne, Chicken and Mushroom Pot Pie, Burgers, Taco Chips and Cheesy Bolognese Chips are decent. Moreover, the milk shakes are an add on, where they can do better but they dont. Overall, I would recommend this place to any third person for a bite as it offers good quality food and service and is inexpensive.
Amazing breakfast.. you can say your trip is complete until u have breakfast here…. wide variety .. for veggies as well… loved it… i was in hangover n trust me it will go after this place..
I liked Maggie Mays. It had a rough and ready informal atmosphere, and to have a bill for just over 16 for three people was excellent. The menu afforded a very good vegetarian choice, although unfortunately half of the items were not available when we visited. The caf is set out in alcoves, which is something I welcome making conversation audible but reasonably private. Staff were friendly and service was reasonably prompt. The caf is not licensed, but a general store a few doors along provides a very good selection of alcoholic drinks, and Maggie May charges 1.50 for corkage per bottle or for 4 cans of beer.Customers should be alerted to the fact that credit cards are not accepted, and payment is by cash only at least when we visited.
Took a trip in summer season with family & friends to Belfast. We are a group of foodie and wanted to have some authentic Irish food -so while taking a street walk ; happened to find Maggie Mays. Its was amazing experience. The food is awesome – comes with limited variety but take my words ; the foodie in you would love & relish the authentic Irish flavor of veg. / non-veg. dish. Best prefer for Breakfast / Brunch or even late evening snacks. Jacket Potato is delicious with half boiledveggiesand fries – it is all-time starter or sides and can go along with any combos! Overall it is fabulous and would want to visit again in next trip 🙂
