Stumbled upon this restaurant after we had been turned away from another place on the same floor that had no available tables (there were plenty of tables outside it but apparently they weren’t for use.)The service was excellent. We were seated right away even though we didn’t have a reservation and the servers were all extremely friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful with the music not being too loud and the lighting just right. The food was lovely, few complaints from a normally very fussy table and the servers could not do enough for us. Being pregnant, I can’t have unpasteurised milk and the servers were so helpful at finding out which cheeses I could and could not eat.
My wife and I enjoyed our visit to Prezzo Victoria Square. We both had calamari for starters which was OK, it was crisp and dry, but lacked flavour but the lemon and pesto dip saved it. For main course my wife had the pasta with salmon and she really Enjoyed it, I had the Vip vesuvio pizza which was OK but I’m really not sure what was VIP about it? Desert was mediocre the bottle of house wine was quite nice and not too badly priced. We used Tesco vouchers for two thirds of the bill , but to be fair if I was paying 60 for the lunch we had ,I probably wouldn’t have thought it was worth it.
