The Flying Clipper is a fully licensed restaurant staffed by the students in North West Regional Colleges state-of-the-art kitchens at the Strand Road Campus (Northland Building, enter via Asylum Road).We deliver exquisite menus in a fine dining style, serving food of the highest quality and provenance. Our students are supervised by chef lecturers with years of experience in industry, having worked in some of the worlds most prestigious restaurants and under some of the globes leading executive chefs. We strive for excellence, and our staff ensure your meal is cooked to the highest standard.The Flying Clipper is open, during term time, for lunches on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and for Dinner Service each Thursday evening. We also offer Christmas lunches and dinners on additional nights.We are the ideal venue for an intimate romantic meal, a working lunch, a family dinner, or a night out with a group of friends. We can cater for up to 80 in each dinner service, and welcome bookings for special occasions.We were awarded a 5 star rating in the Food Hygiene Rating scheme in 2011 recognition of our high standards.Our students and staff look forward to welcoming you to the Flying Clipper.
