The Old Smuggler's Inn is a 18th century coaching inn in the beautiful solway coastal village of Auchencairn, near Castle Douglas. A characterful public bar with real log fire, a pool table and a boat as the bar, contrast with the warm, modern lounge bar with adjacent restaurant. A large beer garden with a burn running at the bottom surround the rear of the building. Customer car park available. Four en-suite letting rooms including a large family room, two doubles and a small double available. Bar meals and snacks available 5pm to 11pm daily, alongside restaurant menu Wednesday to Sunday 6-9pm. Lunches served Wednesday to Sunday 12-3pm. Mondays open from 5pm. Tuesday to Sunday open from 12pm right through until midnight.
