Visited Saturday night. Food was excellent and reasonably priced and portions where a decent size. I had the rainbow trout which was excellent. Actual restaurant itself was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Although we didn’t wait long for our food, we had to ask for the drinks menu after out first one had been finished (the menu was taken away after we ordered our first – why?). I intentionally left my empty glass at the edge of the table see if anyone clocked it but that didn’t work. When we finished our meal, the empty plates were taken away promptly but we weren’t offered the dessert menu. After about 10mins I had to ask a passing waiter for one. Once we paid our bill, we then found ourselves in limbo because we didn’t have our jackets and had to ask for them as well. Will be back here but hopefully these minor issues will be sorted. Customers shouldn’t have to ask to spend money!
Well worth it. Had a great lunch here recently, although more expensive than some other city centerrestaurants it was worth every penny for such a memorable meal.

Ok but. Food was OK but booked in for 7:30 Saterday. must be out by 9:30. makes the 80.00 a bit pricy for a short evening. And it was rush , rush, rush. In, take your money out.
Rather Disappointed. Was looking forward to visiting this restaurant after reading some good reviews and duly booked in advance to ensure we got a table. We shared a focaccia with mozzarella and tomato which was nice enough. My husband had the Risotto with artichoke and black truffle in a creamy saffron & mascarpone sauce which was very nice and I had the Agnolotti alla piemontese which was ok but the flavours became a bit bland after a while. The decor was lovely but the staff left a lot to be desired – its one of those places which makes you feel like you are an outsider or have gate-crashed someone’s private party. The staff seemed nice to everyone else except us!! We were seated near the rear of the restaurant where the tables are close together. The couple on the right were treated to an extensive conversation about the waitresses’ holiday – while we were treated to the sight of her backside due to where she was standing. The couple on the other side were waited on hand and foot to the extent of the waiter opening the lady’s napkin and placing it on her lap for her and them being offered to try the wine even though it was bought by the glass the same as me, I was not offered the same. When you go out for a meal you should leave feeling special and that you have had a nice night – we left feeling we should have tried somewhere else..
Amazing. Every one of the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is well presented and very tasty, there is a great atmosphere and some privacy with booths. it was a great evening and i will be visiting this place in the very near future.
Fantastic!. Always walk past the place and kept meaning to give it a try – finally did just that yesterday! Every one of the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is well presented and very tasty – and the set menu (starter/main/dessert for 16.95) is excellent value! Infact, I liked it so much that I went again today! Will visit this place in the very near future.
