Sol y Sombra has been Dundee’s most popular tapas bar since it opened in 2011. Born out of a lifelong love for Spanish food and culture, we have created a menu of fresh, authentic and simple tapas. The aim is to recreate the feel of a typical Spanish family meal, so everyone has to share and enjoy the meal as one. Our set menu for lunch comprises five cold tapas dishes and seven hot and dinner for seven cold and eight hot. And while it is set menu in the number of dishes and price, the dishes themselves change daily. The chefs use the morning’s freshly delivered ingredients to decide which dishes will be served that day. We can cater to all dietary requirements, and pride ourselves in offering truly delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. Alongside our restaurant upstairs, we also have a wonderful bar boasting a huge range of gins, beers, wines and cocktails. Our bar staff are experts in what we have to offer and will help you find the perfect drink!
