About
Owner John Richardson took over the running of The Glass Pavilion in September 2017., which was originally a bathing shelter in the 1930's, when Broughty Ferry was a popular holiday destination. The building was disused for a long time, until an imaginative re-invention in the late 1990's. It is now mainstream restaurant serving locally sourced traditional British food. From this unique location, you can enjoy the views across the River Tay, watch the passing ships, admire the skills of the local water-sports enthusiasts, and maybe catch a glimpse of the dolphins that frequent the estuary.
