We were welcomed by a bubbly warm environment, bright spacious cafe, a somewhat canteen style reminiscent of childhood school days! A fantastic hot chocolate on a cold icy day! Staff were efficient and pleasant!
It’s a while since we came in here, but it hasn’t improved any.Coffee lukewarm at best, service slow, scones look nice but oh so dry.Expensive prices. Cold, no heaters on. Limited choice. Apart from location, it’s pretty poor.
Refurbished since our last visit about three years ago but still has tearoom charm, pleasant staff and nice food.
Went for lunch here after a break of about ten years, I don’t get out much! Was pleasantly surprised at how things had progressed, enjoyed lunch outside amidst lovely surroundings, very impressed.
We enjoy popping in here from time to time but they do have a limited menu, soup and a sandwich only really. And expensive.
Had a slice of carrot cake and a coffee and enjoyed it while sitting out in the botanic gardens – just lovely in all respects. Cobbs Cafe is a little gem of a place.
The cafe which is inside the entrance to the Floral Hall is a lovely spot to go for a quiet coffee and lovely home bakes
