Great local restaurant. Varied menu and friendly service. Fab steaks and Specials. Good downstairs casual restaurant and upstairs ‘special’ restaurant upstairs. Thoroughly recommended.

Had a great meal here in the cheaper bistro area. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night and lots of people rave about how great it is.

Our favourite place on southside. Great food and wine. Service friendly.

Great steaks!. This is probably a place for special occasions as it’s a wee bit pricier than, say, The Battlefield Rest. Great food (although I never order anything other than the wonderful steak!), great service and very pleasant surroundings. Good wine list too.

Good but expensive. Nice place, modern and chic, good little bar area too and plenty of parking. The fare on offer is well made, fresh and presented in a nice contemporary way. However, this place is not cheap, far from it.For two diners expect to pay around 80-100 for a two gin and tonics to get you warmed up, two courses and a nice bottle of Italian red + coffee.

Barbarossa. Been going here for a few years now and it’s my favourite eating house in Glasgow. Can be pricey but it’s worth it. Service is top class and and a very relaxed night is guaranteed. Fare is Scottish – Italian. Try the fillet steak, best in Glasgow.Excellent wine list as well

Excellent restauraunt with great staff and atmosphere. I moved away from the area but still make a point of going regularly.
