Poor quality, over priced, small portions. Ate here for Mothers Day and the set menu was very limited. For an ‘Italian’ restaurant, the pasta dishes were unimaginative and bland tasting. There was no use of authentic Italian ingredients in any of the dishes and the fish I received for my main course was over-cooked. Average food dressed up as fine dining. Go to Tinto or Cookies on the Southside for food that is cheaper, fresher and more original. This place should spend less money on vases and more on it’s ingredients.
Mediocre and over priced. Mediocre food with more attention paid to presentation than taste. Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food (my partner’s prawn dish contained 3….). Staff knew nothing about wine and even less abut the menu. Tried it once but won’t be back.
First Visit to Barbarossa. Me and my Fiance went there last night (Tuesday Night) as we had a taste card and we could either get 50% off or 2 for 1 which we got. We would never of found it if we didnt have that card. I am so glad we went brilliant food, really nice decor, nice friendly owner Enzo who spoke away to us and i will be going back on a saturday night. Great Place!!
