Food was nice but took ages and they allow people to bring there dogs and and feed them at the table
This place was awful. Very rude clientele and poor music! Girl who worked there was extremely rude. We left without ordering food! It is Trying too hard to be cool and getting confused .
Quite liked this place when it opened. We never went back though due the the high amount of negative reviews appearing all over. But you should always check yourself! We went back tonight to judge for ourselves. Sorry to say the food was pretty awful. Well, that’s not fair, starters were nice. Tempura batter perfect. My main wasn’t good at all. We settled up and ate elsewhere. Disappointing.
Anglicised food led to disappointment. The staff’s service is decent enough, I and a family member ordered nasi goreng on the 2 for 1 student main deal. I’m glad I only paid 5.50, it was very disappointing. There is no chilli kick, it was very bland and the minced chicken skewers were awkward to remove so I could cut it into bite sized pieces. There was far too much of the bland peanut sauce heavy in coconut which was nauseating to one accustomed to Asian cuisine after months of living there and returning only one week previously. I know exactly how food SHOULD taste, and what the acceptable tresholds are. This falls far below the radar. If you’ve come to this place looking for Asian cuisine with authenticity and bold flavours…don’t bother. I was tempted to go speak to the chef personally and offer to cook the dishes. I know I would definitely do a better job of it. In fact, I cooked a nasi goreng from scratch for dinner today along with braised tofu and bok
Just home from bar soba byres rd,Wednesday night…thought we would check out the latest trendy addition to the street. Cocktails outstanding, bar staff more than competent however sorely dissapointed with the food, attracted by the 2 for 1 student offer,we ordered Thai green chicken curry and chicken katsui curry in anticipation that it would be as good as if not better than there Japanese contenders ( wagammas)the Thai curry was standard but the katsui curry absolutely nothing the way it should be,overdone chicken, too much sticky rice, very bitter tasteless sauce, overall disaster, sad to see a new business join the hype of byres road and being so disappointing. 42 pounds down for a meal deal on a Wednesday, will not be back……
Worst meal in Glasgow. Finally had a terrible meal after living in the West End for five months. Most dishes were a confused jumble of favors — wonton/hot and sour soup?!? Or over-dressed like the Singapore noodles or bland like the thai prawn curry! Overall not at all worth the hefty price tag for bad food. I understand why most people were just having drinks. I would avoid eating at this restaurant.
Very poor. Please don’t waste our time or money going. The seats are obviously meant to be ‘cool’ but are pretty uncomfortable and old wood means nice clothes get snagged. There is nowhere to put your coat so be prepared for it to be shoved on the ground. The food was really bland and not well cooked. It’s expensive for what it is and not worth your time when there are nicer Chinese/Japanese cuisine nearby.
