After a little goose chase around the west end for some Eggs Benny, we ended up here. It was exactly what I had in mind – a really nice, semi-rustic atmosphere, very relaxed. The staff were very welcoming, and attentive, and it wasn’t very busy when we arrived so everything arrived so fast. Our eggs were definitely overcooked, but we pointed it out, and they whisked our plates away and brought back fresh ones (with PERFECTLY cooked eggs). To apologise, they didn’t charge us for the coffee, but that was ridiculous! So we left a large-ish tip. All in all I was really happy with the place, even with a minor slip up (and I know I such at poaching eggs), so I will be returning.
