Where’s the nearest chippy?. Gorgeous food, but tiny, nouvelle cuisine type portions. We had to go for a fish supper afterwards.

Great Food. I went here with a friend for dinner after hearing good reviews from friends. We arrived and were met by our server (dressed in traditional kilt attire) and taken to a lovely table by the open sliding doors. We decided to order from the ‘Market Menu’, a set menu that offered 2 courses for 10.95 and 3 courses for 12.95. For starter I chose a goat’s cheese tart with a rocket and balsamic salad. Both our starters arrived quickly and were very well presented and, more importantly, were utterly delicious! For Main meals we opted for a spinach and broccoli pasta and fish pie served with chips. These were just as delicious and the portion size was a generous one, especially for a set menu option. After dinner we were so full we could not possibly have ordered a sweet, but they all sounded so delicious that next time I go I think I’ll go for a main meal and a dessert so I can sample that! A thoroughly enjoyableand very reasonably priced night out. We shall definitely be returning to The Bothy again!
