Two figs too good!. I visited this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago for some saturday brunch. i got the ‘two figs two good’ breakfast which was honestly the best breakfast i’ve ever had!! i even took a picture of it because it also looked so good haha. how sad. anyway, the beans were proper home made beans, not from a tin and tasted amazing! i’m not a huge fan of sausages because i’m fed up biting into one and finding hard bits in them, but these ones were excellent and i ate the lot. eggs cooked perfectly, mushrooms seasoned with something, can’t remember what as it was 2 wks ago but it made them taste great. i visited cafezique recently which prompted me to write this review (soon to write one for cafezique!!) as they bang on about having the best breakfast in glasgow… i paid 10 for their breakfast and it was nothing compared to the 7 breakfast at two figs.i’ll definitely be back at two figs. my boyfriend got fish and chips, the chips were home made and seasoned with pepper and tasted great. fish tasted really fresh and plenty of it for the price. loved the decor inside and the staff were friendly which always helps 🙂

AWOL sweet potato……come back!. Food is great here but the famous super salad is now bland and boring with the replacement of the sweet potato with cauliflower……….cauliflower??!! Bring back the sweet potato!! The best chips in town though!!

An unparalleled burger and fantastic seared spicy chicken. The food, drink and atmosphere here is amazing!

Good food and service marched by some decent pints. Staff are always friendly and food is a level or two above standard pub fare.

Good food, good prices. There’s always good food to be had at Two Figs, though if you’re vegetarian, I’m sorry to report that your options are very limited here. But if you’re not, then it’s one of the best places on Byres Road.Particularly tasty:Side – Sticky chicken wings (4.25) Good priceSide – Slow cooked ribs (4.25) Good priceSide – Tiger prawns (5.45) A bit steepLunch:Falafel wrap (4.25) Good priceWeekend brunch:Two Figs Too Good Brekkie (6.95 – 6.25 [V])Good price, though you need to ask for butter as the toast comes far too dry to do anything other than cut your mouth.Thali Breakfast [V] (6.25)Great price and exceptionally tasty, though sadly sporadically available, and generally when it is, they substitute one of the dishes for something else. It should be a regular item, and if it’s not, say that on the menu.Over all, for breakfast and brunch I’ve always come away full and happy. HAving never eaten there at night, I can’t comment on their evening menu and service.

Being fans of the left bank we were expecting great things, we weren’t impressed to be honest and the burger was served tepidly in temperature.
