So disappointed….. I love this restaurant and indeed thought that it was brill – unfortunately not now. Ordered the Shawarma Marinated Lamb on Saturday (as I always do) and it came with such a disgracefully small portion of lamb that I would be surprised if it was even 50g. They did add to it once I had highlighted just how small it was. Don’t quite know what’s happened to this dish – lots of dry rice – but I wont be rushing back to order it again.12 Feb, 2012Brill. The Two Figs is brill. I’ve now eaten there a number of times and on every occasion it has been a really relaxed and pleasurable experience. The food is good and well priced and the staff are excellent. I highly recommend it.
Figging brilliant!. I haven’t been to the two figs for ages and have seen some bad (unfair) reviews! Thank god I had the chance to go back, I forgot how bloody good it is! It’s the sort of place you can spend a whole day quite happily just relaxing with a book or catching up with friends. The waiting staff are always so nice and actually have personality and are not afraid to have a laugh which is refreshing and makes you feel even more welcome. The food never disappoints, I have eaten breakfast lunch and dinner here and am always so impressed by the quality and the amazing flavours of the dishes at such reasonable prices (especially for the west end) Not only are the staff and food fantastic but the cocktail list is brilliant too, they have the usual ones there but some original and quirky ones that I don’t think you will find anywhere else. Ignore the negative reviews, they obviously don’t know what they are talking about!

My friend had the veg option and she said the rice was over done .Really disappointed as reviews were great and I was looking forward to great food .
