Really enjoyed our anniversary meal at Cafe Marlayne, everything was spot on, food, wine, service, ambience, value for money and in the City Centre of Edinburgh. Great independent restaurant, will definitely be back!
We found this lovely restaurant in Thistle St, it was very busy, prettily decorated, very cosy. The waitress was excellent, very very busy but exceptional with her service. The food was great. Can’t fault this lovely place, great place to eat in Edinburgh.
This was the best food I’ve had in long time. Had Salmon to start followed by the steak, superb would highly recommend a visit.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly staff, food (fish wonderful). Will definitely be returning and recommending it to people in the Lake District
