I visited this restaurant tonight with 2 friends and had a lovely dinner! The interior of the restaurant is quirky, homely and cozy and all the waiting staff were very friendly. They have a great menu – the theme seemed to be comfort food with plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. I had the chicken korma and rice for my main course which was very tasty and a decent portion size. I am on a gluten free diet and the waiter initially told me that the naan bread was gluten free which I was very excited about however he came back a bit later to tell me that it actually did contain gluten. A tad disappointing but at least he double checked which I appreciated!! My friends had the haggis, neeps and tatties and the macaroni cheese which both looked good and they said they were very tasty. I then got the gluten free carrot cake for dessert which was totally delicious. Not bad value for a good quality restaurant in this area of Edinburgh either! Overall, a very enjoyable dinner in a lovely setting. Will definitely be back!
