We both ordered the fillet steak cooked to our usual tastes, and when they arrived they were both like leather! We’re not the kind of people to complain, but when you order their best cut of beef there are certain expectations; the meat being tender is one. We sent them back and asked to see the manager. When he came over he basically said that he couldn’t see a problem with them and we didn’t know what we were talking about. We found him terribly rude and he definitely should not be customer facing! We ended up ordering the chicken because it was clear the chef had no idea how to cook a steak. We ended up being amongst the remaining few customers by the time we finally got to finish our meal. They even got our bill wrong, and of course no discount for all the hassle! The most disappointing night out we’ve had in years 🙁

Opted for the breakfast, hot drink and juice deal which cost less than a tenner. Mines was smoked salmon, avo egg on toast and his was bacon and eggs on toast. Runny poached eggs…perfect! I like the fact there are so many outdoor seats…perfect for people watching!
