CA is a gorgeous vintage style tearoom tucked away on London Street, a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. The stars of the show is their cake selection which is absolutely fantastic. Marie Claire’s baking wizardry knows no bounds, especially for her unusual combinations (sweet potato and carrot cake – delicious) and special diet cakes. Perfect accompanied by a lovely pot of eteaket tea. Been in for lunch – Superfood salads are generous and also delicious with selections daily – and also recently to try the new brunch menu. Excellent avocado toast and friend also thought homemade granola was excellent. Erring on the price-y side (8.50 avo toast, 7 for sandwich, 4.50 for granola) but wonderful for the occasional treat

I j’adore the cakes and tarts that come out of the oven here. Recently I had a raspberry & white chocolate tart and it was UTTER HEAVEN! The scones are good too – nice & big. I usually opt for earl grey tea, which comes in a lovely tea pot with loose leaves for that good all round taste. emmascakeybakeyadventures.wordpress.com

Checked out this cute vintage tea house in city centre last week with my favourite foodie Tee Miah I loved the decor and design! They were out of Bollywood dream chai but got the chocolate abyss which smelt and look refreshing but tasted like Carmel NOM! The scones were great I asked to get them warmed up as I like my butter to sink into my scones. Tee got himself a soup which judging by facial expression I don’t think he enjoys :/ 10-15 maybe not the best tea house in Edinburgh but worth a visit. Really central 5 minutes away from Omni sultanamalik.wordpress.com

I have to say I am in love with this tea room .. Beautiful and yummy cakes. The lemon drizzle I tried was lovely and just the perfect amount of lemon added. worldoffaz.wordpress.com
