Consistently good. Coffee Angel is a great wee place and has a lovely atmosphere. Customers range from mum’s with their wee ones, students and people having business meetings. Never rushed to get out of there. Panini’s are great, good selection of tea and most importantly, excellent cakes!

This place has become a regular haunt. Great coffee. Staff are very friendly and recognise you after a couple of visits. I’m hooked on the haggis and sweet chilli jam Panini, although the chicken and chorizo melt hits the spot too. Great prices too, much cheaper than the chains!

The best place in town!. I love Coffee Angel, it’s such a laid back coffee house. They make my coffee they I like it – and always with a smile.A highly recommended alternative to the nearby chains – honest. The prices are great, and the coffee, sandwiches, treats and services are even better! This is a superb independent coffee house.
Misl–Ed. Not sure where reviewer Ed was but I doubt it was Coffee Angel! Space is welcoming and relaxed; lots of people enjoying the papers or a Wi-Fi browse over coffee and a cake or soup and panini. Favourite sandwiches and cakes are regularly joined by new combos to keep the customers happy.It’s a regular haunt for me and lots of others, helped by the friendliness of the staff. And they bring your order to your table – not many cafes do that! If only every area of Edinburgh had a Coffee Angel – it would be heaven!
A definite must !. This place is definitely from heaven !! THE MOST gorgeous Vanilla Latte, and everything home made – so much choice and all home made ! The staff are so friendly, my favourite haggis and chilli – jam (Yes !) had run out, but the guys ran and got one organised in a couple of minutes. They truly seem to love food and enjoy meeting everyone, its very relaxed with a real mix of people, can’t wait to visit again…..already thinking about those chocolate and beetroot cupcakes !!!
