They have a lot of chocolate dish options to choose from, great tasting and fast service, I liked their chocolate crepe with strawberries that were really fresh and delicious.
Being a chocoholic, I was looking forward to this place. I was completely disappointed with rushed service. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. The servers will not let you enjoy your dessert in peace and will rush you through the entire time. There are a lot of good chocolate places beside this shop which are not so rude, rushed and cramped. We ordered pancakes and cookie cream shake, both were average with the cookie cream having more cream than milk and large chunks of cookies which made it difficult to drink the shake.
A perfect cozy place which specialises in chocolate delicacies. a must for those visiting Edinburgh. The waffles and cheese cakes are just awesome.
I ordered the forrero rocher ice cream and my friend ordered cheesecake with forrero rocher ice cream on the side, came out, my friend one was correct, mine was oreo.. asked about it and they replaced it and gave the oreo one for free. We felt rushed during eating as some of the waitre/ress kept looking at us, and just after we finished the dessert, the waiter straight away asked if we want the bill, we asked for hot water refill for our tea which he never bring it back.. i wonder why.. couldve given higher rating, but for the weird & awkward service, i wont.
I love the concept of this place, the menu is exciting and more than meets up to the taste expectations… Infact, I really enjoyed the food. The soup and sandwhich for 5.99 was great value and we finished of with the fruit fondue … The chocolate was delicious. However, I left feeling almost a little flat. The idea of a chocolate shop conjures up the idea of a bright willy wonka style set up. With its mahogany plain tables and chairs, I feel like they missed a trick. The staff were pleasant, but not overly engaging. Sunday blues perhaps?
