It’s a good club for a night out. They play a lot of reggaeton so only go here if you like that kind of music. Sometimes they mix it with some salsa, cumbia or pop but reggaeton rules in this place. The cocktails are good here and you can spot some amazing dancers as well!
Avoid this place. The worst meal I can recall having at a restaurant. Starter average, main course dreadful. Wine arrived opened twice (wrong order the first time). Service poor.
El barrio not only has good food but an amazing nitelife too!staff are very very friendly and it looks like u stepped into a bit of Cuba highly recomended
When you comin to town?. Steppin into ‘El Barrio’ was like stepping into any cantena in Havana or Guadalajara. We all felt like reaching for our passports on entry! The vision was enhanced with the welcoming smiles of the tropical shirted staff who quickly comforted us with their Latino hospitality and seated us at the bar. Margaritas, Daiquiris, and Mojitos hit the mark and the restaurant beckoned. Once seated we were offered our menus which were illustrated with appetizing photographs of the respective dishes. As a starter, I chose the ‘BBQ Chicken Wings’ which were sweet bbq flavour and firey at the same time. Delicious! For mains, I had the ‘El Barrio Skewers’ served on a bed of white rice. Quite simply mouth-watering. For dessert, I had the ‘Mojito Sorbet’ which is exactly what it says on the tin. Got to be tried! To sum up, a great dining experience for those looking for dining out as more than just an eating out experience. Well done El Barrio team. When you coming to Glasgow?
Life is sweet in the Latin. Great food, exquisite cocktails, great night out. Simples 🙂
Great Outing!!!. Went there for a few cocktails and ended up having a dinner, the food was great and the staff very friendly. Will definitely be going back. An excellent choice of spots if you are wanting a friendly, attentive and entertaining night out!!
Go to Tex Mex II instead….. So many things wrong. No heating for a start, everyone there was sitting in jackets. Service was very slow. All the food arrived luke warm and had to be sent back to be re-heated, was average at best when we did get it back. When we finally got the bill, it arrived with extra drinks on it that we didnt order and an additional 20 added for some bizarre reason. Appalling in every sense of the word. Want to see mexican done right? Go to Tex Mex II
