What a happening place. We were forced to go here cause we were waiting for a table at Bar Napoli. Reluctant that we were, once inside it was a vibrant and mesmerising. We just had our drinks here but would love to go again in future !!

We had visited this place in 2017 December. The service is swift and friendly. The salad and the food could have been better in terms of taste and portion is also pretty less. Wine was great!

I’ve been here only for drinks because don’t think this is the place to eat…however we have got some free nibbles with our drinks which was alright. They have huge windows so if you manage to sit there with your friends, the sun shining at you (good luck with that in Scotland) and drinking a bottle of prosecco…well you can’t really ask for more. Avoid it at Friday and Saturday night unless you like crowded places. Best for Sunday afternoon chill. katalinsom.com

I usually come here for drinks. I like the ambience and the location so I meet my friends here quite often. They have Peroni on tap which is always a plus! However, the place gets very crowded on Fridays and Saturdays so I tend not to come here on those days. I had their lunch deal which was a good value – a panini and chips or soup for 5. Last time I tried their nachos when I had drinks with Sarah Mackenzie and Vitaliya Klimashevska and they were ok. Not amazing and not dissapointing. Overall, good spot for drinks but if I would go for a proper dinner I would rather pick one of the restaurants close by on Hanover Street.

Oh my god this is the worst food I’ve eaten I a very long time! As my friend said I’ve not had food like this since the 80s and it’s not a good memory! Tasteless stringy steak, pate from a pack, awful yuck! forkandfizz.com

I have not eaten at this bar but when I lived in Edinburgh it was one of my favourite for a night out – reasonably priced, decent cocktails and sometimes a live band. Well located too.
