Great service Soothing interiors. Scottish folks are fun loving and serve with a big smile. The fruit platter goodBreads great and freshly baked. The buffet breakfast adequately elaborate. Great start to the day of exploration of west highlands.

Great service, delicious food, great location. What more can a girl want? Just off Princes Street, you head in for one of the best Sunday lunches in Edinburgh. The live music softly plays in the background whilst you dig into scrummy dishes (the rare beef was a particular highlight). We have been before and also thought it was one of the best meals ever..especially when they give you mini loaves of bread to snack on. So grab a date and get yourself down to Hadrians! brightredwellies.com

Lovely service and good fresh food. Blue cheese salad could be a little better proportions, but good otherwise with lovely fresh bread and excellent garnishes

The Brasserie which is directly linked to the grand and opulent Balmoral Hotel does not fail to deliver as it serves up some of the finest food in Edinburgh. However, this was not expected as it is part of the internationally known Balmoral brand. The service you receive is very good and the staff are clued up on the knowledge of the food and the drinks which are on offer for the diners. Whilst the menu is expensive, the quality of the food more than makes up for the money you spend. However the set three course dinner deal massively helps to trim back the costs, and it is a great deal and worth taking advantage of. When I visited Chicken Breast in White Wine Sauce was on the menu for the main course, although it appears that they have changed it, but the food which was brought out was succulent and flavourful. The starters and the desserts are equally as delectable as the mains, all in all, it is a grand dining experience in a luxurious setting and worth the money.
