Nice indian restaurant in the heart of the town. They serve very good selection of veg food. The food tastes very good. The service was very quick and there is nothing to complain. I would definitely recommend to give this place a visit if you are in town.
Went there for our anniversary dinner . Orderd mixed kebab , biriyani and roasted tandoori chicken. The food was awesome. Beautiful decor inside makes for a pleasant dinning. and cordial staff. Overall had a great experience.
Fabulous! Went for the pre-theatre menu with friends and was delighted to see chilli squid on the menu. The crispy squid followed delicious onions, chutney and poppadoms. The sauce was nice and spicy but with great flavour. Never normally go for a creamy curry but the chicken korma drew me in…and I’m glad it did. The sauce was really flavourful and chicken tender (which I was worried about as there’s no end to the dry chicken in curries.) I had the plain naan as my side and it was perfect. 15.95 for byob and good food? Ga’wn then.
This is honestly one of the best Indians restaurants in Edinburgh, it’s bring your own booze and don’t charge for corckage. I would recommend getting the sharing starter which comes with three different sharing dishes, each as amazing as the next, the portions are huge for the mains, I got a Korma with garlic Naan and was only able to eat half of it. Definitely worth a visit!!
on the way to our hotel we saw this restaurant Khushi since 1947. After our hotel checkin we visited this restaurant, from inside it is very decorated with All old indian culture phots with some celebs colarge and also some ancient times india maps. we ordered only two dish chicken curry n biryani, very delicious – the food was amazing. Waiters seems little arrogant (this is what i feel) ask him to serve the rice but he refuse by saying its very easy.Only for thr food iam giving 3.5 but for the service may be 1
I would call it heaven, being a vegetarian, I was struggling to get good Indian cuisine than we found this restaurant, awesomeeeee food, amazing ambience
If I would say this is the best Indian restaurant in Edinburgh, then it wouldn’t be wrong. On my visit here in Scotland, many recommended this restaurant to us. Not only Indian but Scottish friend also like the place. The restaurant works on concept of BYOB.One can easily see many group sitting with their own bottles of wine.Cheerful crowd, prompt service and quality of food is the forte of this outlet. Many a times I visited this place with different group of colleagues at lunch and dinner time and was always satisfied with quality and taste of food.
