We went here after a recommendation, and it was by far the best food we had in Edinburgh. The matre was kind and fun, and the place was beautiful and quiet. We found it really nice that it was located in the basement.The Scottish haggis were served wrapped in filo pastry, we never tried them like that but were delicious. The crme brle we had for dessert was also amazing.

Want Scottish Food – start here. This is one of my all time favourite restaurants. Down beneath Dublin Street it has great atmosphere but it’s the food that will absolutely blow you away. Try ‘Haggis in Filo Pastry Parcels’ – this has converted even the most anti-haggis people I know and made vegetarians wish they could give in for a night. Ideal for a romantic night out or book ahead and take over the place for a bash with your friends/family.
