I had to go to the post office and it was already late for lunch which is why I needed a grab and go snack. While subway was what I really wanted, I thought of trying this place because of its eye-catching dcor and graphics and because subway was terribly crowded!I tried the cheese and tomato sub (since that was the only vegetarian option they had at that time) and a drink. It seemed like the most miserly filling of cheese in any sandwich I had ever seen with hardly 2 invisible slices of tomato! While the bun itself was quite good, the ratio of what was inside and outside killed the experience!Pros Good place for quick bites if well stocked.Cons less attention paid to quality. touryard.com
The food here tastes just as good as it looks. I really liked the retro theme of the cafe with the old fashioned signage and the colour scheme but with a clean modern feel.. The baguettes are very well filled , the paninis are beautiful and the selection of cakes is mouthwatering. The serving area is also very clean and it is just a pity that this is not a national chain as I’m sure they would do very well in other towns and cities.
