Had a couple of days in Edinburgh and went to the Guildford Arms a lovely little pub just off Princess Street. My friend and I had a lovely meal, fish and chips and steak and ale pie, great service, lovely staff and a good selection of ale. If you are in Edinburgh I recommend this pace for drinks and food.
Found this place while stumbling around looking for a late lunch. A not insubstantial bowl of Shetland mussels shared for starters and a steak and ale pie with mash and veggies washed down with a pint and a half of Cascadian saw me struggling to stay awake through both the comedy shows later in the day. This place is definitely worth a look-in…
