The best Scottish breakfast in Edinburgh. We’ve been regulars at the haven for a couple of years now, it has everything you want from a great cafe and breakfast spot. The welcome is always warm and friendly, the decor is eclectec and homely with local artwork adordning the walls. The menu is compact, topped up with daily specials and an array of fresh, homemade cakes and scones (amazing, huge scones!).The full Scottish breakfast is great value, with excellent quality ingredients and very generous portions. Special mention goes out to the pancakes and the Artisan Roast coffee (always a winner!).The only downside is when it’s too busy to get a table – but you can get takeaway and toddle off to Ndewhaven harbour! benpowis.net
