This was the WORST dining experience ever in my Life (74)the food was cold the chips out of farm foods the staff foreigners did not have a clue of the English Language poorly trained never brought cutlery had to ask and for condiments truly a disaster and I take it because it was Half Price Monday treated with contemptEverybody boycott this dump and go to Weatherspoon’s very unhappy ex army colonel will be exposing you on social media and reporting you to trading standards and the food authority as abysmal
This is my favourite place in the omni. Food is fabulous and half price cocktails Friday and Saturday. You just can’t go wrong. The design inside is so pretty. I love it!
I have only been in here once before for drinks but it appears the place has has a revamp and looks like a girly boudoir (I actually like that sort of thing). The staff were friendly. The cocktail menu is extensive and you can get great deals on these at the weekend. The menu is generally standard pub stuff. Sadly they didn’t have the pulled pork that my friend ordered or the side of onion rings I had ordered, which was a shame and a bit of a disappointment at a chain restaurant. The food was nice enough when it came. I had scampi and chips which was tasty but I felt the portion was a bit stingy for the price. The pie and the chicken my friends had were enjoyed. I’m more likely to come back here for the drinks than the food but it’s handy for a bite to eat before the cinema. edinburghfeasts.com
Good & Bad. I like a bargain and the 50% off on Monday offer had me heading for the Omni centre for lunch. First impressions of the dining area were poor. It’s a dimly lit sea of beige with stained seating and badly worn tables. On the plus side, the staff were freindly and the service was quick. I ordered the Filly Cheese Steak and it arrived promptly on a wooden board with fries and slaw. It was lean and tender and the ciabatta was crisp and tasty. So, thumbs up for value, service and food and could do better for the interior.
