I’d walked from Tweedbank on a cold day and was cold, hungry and weary. They quickly and cheerfully sorted me out with a bowl of tasty soup and I was soon able to continue my walk.
Great coffee shop selling light lunches, tea, coffee, and delicious scones. The front shop also sells a selection of gifts as well as a wonderful selection of wines and spirits. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A must visit if you’re in Melrose

When in Melrose, my wife and I usually ‘lunch’ here. After a recent visit, we can report that the enjoyable experience – food, wine, relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff, is still very much in evidence. Can recommend.
It was a lovely day and the outside seating appealed. Best scones I’ve had in a while. Good service. You order and pay inside. Dogs allowed outside.
