Had the Lobster ravioli and Italian pizza – both very good. The pizza oven makes the place really hot – so dress for summer. Overall – friendly and attentive staff with great food.

Great service, great value for money, delicious carbonara and the pizza was tasty. Top tip: get there before 7 for the early dinner menu, it’s the same food but cheaper

A little gem. Went last night for an early dinner and it was almost full up even before 6pm! Lovely, cosy atmosphere with Christmas crackers on the table. Opted for the pre-theatre menu and was astounded at the excellent choices and value for money this offered – 10 for 2 courses or 12 for 3. Went for mussels in tomato and chilli broth for starter, served with garlic bread. The bread had fresh herbs on it, the broth was spicy, hot and full of flavour and the mussels were cooked to perfection. Brilliant. Then went for a goat’s cheese & Mediterranean vegetable pizza. Couldn’t fault it and it was almost too big for me to finish. (Almost!) My husband had home made pate and then creamy tagliatelle with chicken and mushrooms made with fresh pasta – both of which went down a treat. Neither of us left anything on our plates and with complimentary bread on the table, efficient service and beautiful home made Italian food, all this makes me want to go back to Lamora again and again.
