Tried Wok Way for the first time tonight and it was everything you would expect from a noodle fast food restaurant. There was a good choice of noodles, toppings and sauces. I considered them quite expensive for what they offered, especially if you visit late night after 11pm as the prices increase by 1. A soft drink can is 1.60 and these aren’t kept in a fridge. Although, a sign in the window says they offer some student discounts.

Not the best service i had as there was only 2 staff working. The food wasn’t the best and could be cooked more so that the sauce is cooked more into the noddles.

The wok is located on Sauchiehall street right next to the O2abc club. That’s about a 5 min walk from Charing Cross or a 10 min walk from cowcaddens subway. The system of ordering is pretty simple – 3 steps – choose noodle/rice, pick the meat/veggie mix to go and add the sauce of your liking. Add some toppings if that’s to your taste and your order is done. The food is cooked in front of you and you are served within minutes in a cute eco friendly box. Perfect when you want piping hot food and in a hurry. The place offers both sit in and takeaway. Ohh and you can adda drink to your meal !! The cost is around 8 (they accept cards) per head and the quantity fills you up. Also as its open till pretty late you can expect to see folk coming in and heading to the club venue next door.I invariably end up ordering egg noodles with shrimp and mushrooms and the spicy sauce. Do try the fried onion toppings. Promise that you will be stuffed and will most certainly come back for more !!
