To begin with I’m in love with Scotland and having a weakness for Italian food, this place was the best choice for dining out and a convenient one too ! Situated right next to Holiday Inn (where we stayed for about 3 days) this restaurant will cater to your Italian cravings. I ordered the Minestrone soup (a generous portion for a soup) and Casarecce con zucchini which is twisted pasta in a creamy white sauce with courgettes and loads of Parmesan. The portion is quite generous and the taste is simply amazing. I ordered their house wine to combine with the pasta which turned out to be great too. I tried the steamed Spinaci and Broccoli from their Contorni section and got to taste the original earthy flavor of these veggies which one rarely does! During my next visit I decided to eat light and opted for Insalata mista which is just a salad which has a little bit of everything and tastes phenomenal. I ended my dinner with the delectable Tiramisu. A must try at this place might I add !The ambiance of this place is romantic and relaxed, perfect for a date! The staff is kind and friendly. Al Dente is moderately priced and for those who don’t mind splurging a bit once a while.So if you decide to visit Glasgow anytime soon do visit this charming little place and treat your taste buds to really good Italian food, I know I’m going to ! 🙂
