Italian Masterclass.. A bit like Roberto Baggio, this place does the job. And then a bit more. From the decor to the service, it’s absolutely tip top and it’s fitting that it’s located in the summit of Princes Square.I’ve never had a bad meal from Zizzi’s, and even if it is a chain resturaunt, it sets the standard for its kind very well.I’ve yet to be disappointed in this eatery.
What the hell…. People are quite harsh judging by the comments on Zizzi’s but I think the food’s fantastic and the staff are the friendliest people ever! Attentive and very approachable. The food is very rustic Italian and is full flavoured. Their homemade chilli sauce is also amazing! Highly Recommend, oh and it’s not pretentious at all, like alot of other places within Princes Square.
First experience was good. I went here with a friend and has the Sofia pizza, and it was possibly one the best pizzas of my life. Dramatic, I know. My friend hated her salad (some form of egg and cheese) but I think she knew in her heart of hearts that she simply ordered the wrong dish.Garlic bread is not to be missed.
I must say the food is nothing special. We were not given what we ordered 2 times and when things eventually came, they were burnt in some cases, and in others, not particularly tasty. The pizza I chose said it would have lots of meat on it, being a fan of meat I was looking forward to it. However, when it came there was a sparse scattering of not particularly nice pieces of sausage with peppers, which I specifically asked not to have. However, the atmosphere wasn’t too bad and the restaurant looks quite nice inside. My opinion, give it a miss there are plenty of other, much nicer, Italian restaurants in the city centre.
Ok if you are looking for fast food but not the place to go for a special or romantic meal. I would avoid the pizza as they tend to be doughy.
Been to Zizzi’s a few times and never had cause to complain. Tasty food, good menu and prices and friendly staff. Its not spectacular but you can always depend on being satisfied with your food and experience there.
