Disappointed. We had pre booked a table with a manager as we were eating here the week before christmas. They lost our reservation despite us going into the restaurant to book the table & it took them a while to find us a new table. We were shunted aside & they weren’t apologetic about the situation at all. I ordered the ravioli & the portion was small and didn’t fill me up although I am a small person. After this, I’m not really sure why people rave about this place so much & I don’t know if I will be back
Pretty good. I have to admit, I hate chains and wasn’t holding out too much on this one. Result though was it was pretty good straight forward Italian style food. Good scattering of fish options on the menu, which is very welcome. Maybe a touch pricey, but location and setting if you get a table out in teh balcony is excellent, especially at Christmas as has been noted elsewhere in the reviews previous.Only real bug was took ages to get the bill and not for lack of trying either. Place wasn’t exactly busy, but perhaps under staffed maybe.
