‘delicious patisserie’ = a fruit scone??. Very disappointed with visit on Mon, service was slow & inattentive even though it was empty. We just wanted coffee & cakes, so asked what the menu meant by ‘delicious patisserie’, turns out that just means scones, but on ordering a plain scone we were informed it was just fruit on offer! The only alternative offered was the dessert menu, which really was more substantial than we wanted @ 3pm
Nice with perfect setting. Pretty decent menu and what was served up I liked. Good pricing, but as the title says the setting tops it off for me. Princess Square is a bit of a gem and a poor restuarant in here doesn’t deserve to be. Has to be tried during the lead up to Christmas.
Gr8 for Lunch. Darcys is a favourite of mine, set in princes square its a great restaurant for lunch with the family, or lunch when out shopping.The past few times i have visited we have gone for the 2 course set menu on the market menu which is reasonably priced at 8.95.I went for the pate and oatcakes to start which came with a delicious plum chutney.For mains i had the penne arrabiatta, a simple dish but tasty, it also came with a nice lashing of parmesan cheese.Id really recommend this menu for lunch, its reasonably priced and filling, and your right in the courtyard of princes square which is a delight to look at and full of the buzz of shoppers.
Good Food. I’ve been here on a few occasions with friends during our shopping trips in town. The service is quick and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There is usually a few offers running that you can choose from that are great value for money, especially the 2 courses for 8.95 which we all ordered from last week. Food was very tasty and it is great fun watching all shoppers buzzing about Princes Square.
Good atmosphere. Darcys is one of my favourites for Saturday lunch.I usually take my girlfriend here when were out shopping.I would recommend ther market menu for lunch,it has a great burger on ther. Its also in princes sq so u get all the buzz from shoppers!
Yum. Had the pre theatre here last week, was great value for money 10.99 for 2 courses.the atmosphere was buzzing, i really like that Darcys looks on to Princes Square its quite a treat.The wine was also reasonably priced and the staff friendly.overall a nice dining exprience.
