This was my first visit to Sloans, but definitely not my last. I cant quite believe all those years living in Glasgow and I never visited this place! As I now live in Australia, unfortunately itll be a while before I get back for more of THAT macaroni cheese. Im a traditionalist, so went for the original. It was sooo good. I really wanted to try the haggis pakora, so next time Ill skip breakfast to make room.The service was efficient and friendly. Great range of gins on offer. Try the Harris, you wont be disappointed!
I went with 8 more people around a week ago to enjoy a dinner and ceilidh. We could order 2 dishes, half of the group ordered a starter and the other half a main dish. Instead of being served at the same time half of the group had their starter while the other half looked at them and waited for an hour for their main dish. Terrible service.
