Pleasant Surprise. While expecting a coffee house I was most delighted to find one with such a delicious variety of herbal teas and found a wonderful berry infusion from a company (never heard of before) called Stash – but what was more delightful was the service provided by their dark curly- haired waitress – she was both attentive and very knowledgable about the teas and the menu in general.I will definitely be returning to Atrium on my next visit to Glasgow.
Awful Staff. Probably the worst waitresses in the world. Without gaining consent one waitress pushed my pram out of her way while my 6 month baby was inside, my poor daughter let out a terrified cry and when I asked if I could settle up after I soothed my distressed daughter I was told payment was needed now by an equally inept second waitress. Seriously what is wrong with these people? AVOID
No customer care, no quality and no clue! Don’t waste your money. Run by Mr Magoo.
Awful- spent 14 on coffees and cakes for a group of us, asked the manager if someone could possibly bring the order out when it was ready as my baby twins were outside and I needed to feed them. Refused! Haven’t encountered such an obstructive person, most other outlets happy to help mums with wee ones. He explained that the non assistance policy has been the case for 13 years- clearly bad manners are not new at the atrium.Will absolutely not go back.
Faulty Fridge??. I was at the Atrium today and found it surprising that the front door was kept wide open on a cold and windy day. Several people including myself tried to close the door, but were promptly told by the manager that the fridge was not working (?!) and that the door had to be kept open. I wonder how a cafe can function without a working fridge and how an open door can help with that. This did not make for a comfortable experience and shows total disregard for the customers’ comfort. I won’t ever be back.
Bad customer service. It seems the manager or someone connected with this terrible coffee house likes to try and sneak in and write a false review or two. I wonder if the manager will write one to combat this one….let’s see.I have been in here more than once and will never go back. Most of the staff are nice enough bit the manager is aggressive and rude to mothers and their children. Awful place, easily avoided just walk across the street to Avenue G where the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Terrible Customer Service. I am still in shock at how awfully me and my friends were treated by the manager of this establishment.In all my 72 years I’ve never been to rudely spoken too or so aggressively hounded out of a place. I have never even felt the need to write a review until now but I felt I had to so others didn’t make the same mistake.I hope whoever is in charge of this cafe comes to his/her senses and takes note of these reviews.
