Really thought that if you connect the name of your premises to beef and are part of the Hilton you could expect that the kitchen would know how to cook beef! Apartantly not. Got to be the most bland pieces of over cooked meat ever presented. Both sent back only to be brought back two equally bad plates. Neither cooked as asked. No flavour or colour. In total four fillets wasted. How can you get something so easy so wrong? Credit to the staff who were very attentive just a shame that the chef was either missing or needs to be taught hoe to cook meat. Would avoid at all costs as there are several places in the west end where you could get a great piece of meat cooked properly and for the same price if not less. Come on Hilton send your chefs back to school.

Go for a fish supper afterwards as you will need it. My lamb steak was a tiny medallion (just one). Even after i tipped my 2 side dishes of salad and onion rings onto the plate, the entire plate looked like something only a starving model will consider worth eating. The starter tasted great – both bites went down well. Shame there wasn’t more.Pudding super – doughnuts in sauce. Bit more substantial than the rest of the meal.Restaurant price was perfect for what you got if you were trying to lose weight and watch calorie intake.

Bit of an expensive disappointment. As part of the Hilton group, and looking at the prices e.g. 6.50 for a cocktail and 20 for a sirloin steak, we had expected our meal to be top notch. The ham hock starter was completely bland with only a tiny dribble of chutney to add any flavour at all. We ordered two steaks both of which arrived cold (not even tepid) and on unheated plates; they had obviously been ready long before we were. Accompanying chips, potatoes and veg. were also not hot. Creme brulee sweet was nothing special. To round-off a just-about average meal the staff started setting up (loudly) the restaurant for the following day’s breakfast. At 110.00 for two including drinks and wine this meal which was meant to be a special occasion, was very disappointing & we won’t be returning or recommending Bovine to our circle of friends. On the positive side the service from the staff was excellent; discreet and attentive.

I can’t wait to go back!. The service here is fantastic. They make you feel welcome by hanging up your coats and going the extra mile to ensure you have an exceptionally brilliant dining experience. The atmosphere is one of evening elegance with a touch of dark romance; perfect for a date. I had a sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection. The wine list is impressive (I recommend the pinot noir) and the black pudding starter is exquisite. I cannot wait to revisit Bo’vine in the future!

Great pre-theatre meal. Black pudding starter and steak both lovely. Found it pretentious and unnecessary for the food to be carried out on trays but oh well!

Stunning meal at Bo’Vine tonight. Thoroughly recommend both Asparagus and Prawn Cocktail to begin. The highlight without doubt was the Chateaubriand! One of the best steaks had within the UK! 10/10 with very pleasant and attentive staff also.

Great evening wonderful staff despite my ribeye having to be replaced as it was unedible. A bad cut of meat replaced by a wonderful sirloin
