This is a little gem of a find which most students from Glasgow uni would tell you. However, got a shock when I walked in today. The place had a complete make over. There’s now seating upstairs – bonus! Come here any time of the day or night. Everything on the menu is tasty. And I’d recommend the mini Nutella calzone. Divine!

A Tight Fit. This compact caf has character the big chains can only dream of. Every square inch seems to be spoken for with either shelves of Italian produce or some decor of the homeland. I squeezed into a little booth and awaited my pizza. It’s a busy place and the queue at the counter seems endless. My pepperoni pizza was delightful. Nice and crispy and not at all oily. There is a good selection of cakes and snacks for the sweet toothed as well as salads. Well worth a visit but avoid the busy times if possible.

While the food was, for the price on the lunch menu, tasty enough I did not enjoy my meal here. Firstly my confidence was shaken when the spaghetti bolognese with a V – indicating a vegetarian option was infant a miss print and that this dish was in no way vegetarian, I also noticed a meal that contained pepperoni also claimed to be vegetarian with a V next too it. We went with something safer with regards to vegetarian. Now I also ordered something gluten free which was fine however I was outraged when the bill arrived and I got charged extra for the pleasure of a gluten free meal! Never before have I ever been charged extra for gluten free! All in all not my best dining out experience, we eat out a lot and never have I found a miss print when highlighting vegetarian options! Can honestly say I will not be returning! * in fact not infant – silly auto correct!
