High-end traditional fish & chips shop located on Byres Road. Limited menu but very, very reasonable in its pricing and portion size – the Haddock alone fills most of the plate. Cheeseburger and chips is also excellent here, and if anyone enjoys a good Sunday brunch then definitely try here sometime. Service is excellent, and due to the restaurant being rather small the atmosphere is warm and cosy. Old Salty’s is a good place to eat on a rainy day in Glasgow.
Old Salty’s is essentially a posh chippy, sometimes exactly what you are in the mood for! An ideal hangover cure. We had the macaroni pie and the steak pie, each with chips and some mushy peas and some gravy on the side.We were both very happy with our pie suppers, I especially recommend the steak pie!It wasn’t too expensive considering it comes with table service, and has a more pleasant atmosphere than other chippys! Go here!
