I have eaten here before and it was fine but on Saturday evening I bought a haggis supper from here and I have been sick since. I had, had a few pints and this was around 130am. Apparently I was advised against eating it by my other half but I was hungry and stupidly ignored this advice. The fact of the matter is that if something is for sale you should be able to guarantee it will at least not make you sick. I writing this now as I’m stillill and this is day 3. It was almost definitely the haggis as I was ill about 24 hours later and didn’t eat or do anything else that would make me sick. NEVER AGAIN! regardless of the time of day or night you cant sell food that has effectively poisoned me. Very POOR!
Decent chippy in the west end, surprisingly one of the only traditional chip shops near kelvinbridge (as far as I know). It’s pretty standard for a chippy, the prices are very reasonable and they do numerous lunch deals. I had the sausage supper, which surprisingly came with two sausages – a very large portion. If you want some traditional fish and chips you could do far worse.
