About
The date on the exterior of this friendly bar says 1887 and there's an appropriately old-fashioned atmosphere on the inside too. The first thing that strikes you is the central circular bar with its traditional brass rail. Elsewhere, the walls are decorated with all manner of old bottles, books and jars which, along with the real fireplace, give the impression of a homely, well lived-in space. As a result, Drouthy Neebors is a popular destination for locals and tourists, ranging from shoppers to families, weekend revellers and, thanks to the six televisions, football fans wanting to catch up with the big fixtures.
