Sometimes I crave a big cheesy monstrosity, EdinBloggette is of a different view, so Ill often leave these reviews until she is out of the office.I built my own pizza by combining bits of meat, red onion and a selection of green peppers. These werent my exact words, but they were what I was craving at the time. A side order of jalapeo poppers and chicken bits would complete the meal which came in at just under 15. A fairly expensive deal but its what the stomach wanted and who am I to argue? The poppers had been squished, no longer able to pop instead they would only ooze. The chunks of chicken were nice enough, pretty good for dipping although a little on the soggy side. The special garlic butter included with every pizza always ends up in the bin, its 100% disgusting. The idea of dipping pizza into butter is a step too far, you may as well book an ambulance when ordering the pizza. My review may seem quite negative, but it is what it is, a dirty cheese pizza. Theres a time and a place for such gorging, it usually occurs with a hangover when taste receptors are a little lazy and your body needs to replenish its grease stock. Its safe to say there were no leftovers for breakfast pizza; and whilst enjoy would be a strong word for such a meal its pretty likely that some day soon Ill be giving Papa a call to complain about a self inflicted illness which only his special sauce can fix.For full review, please visit:http://www.edinblogger.com/2014/papa-johns-edinburgh/ edinbraw.com
