Hugely disappointing. The most disappointing take-away experience I have ever had in my entire life. When the chap on the counter finally realised I was there and stopped talking to his friends on the phone to serve me, I ordered a paneer (solidified cheese) dish. It arrived in reasonable time. When back at my house to eat I discovered it was just an uninspiring vegetable curry that they just had thrown a handful of grated cheddar over. If a place does not have the things people order on the menu, TELL THE CUSTOMER! Don’t try to fob them off – that would avoid disappointment and negative reviews like mine. It is the nearest Indian to me but that experience scarred me and I now go to Rivage on Easter Road which is more expensive but superb. Plus, you get the what you actually order. I wish I could give minus points.

Way way way way too salty. Avoid if you don’t want a hart attack. We did complane and they were very quick to replace the dishes but they were the same.
Absolutely fantastic. Authentic tasting and not overly expensive. Jaipuri chicken is a favourite of mine
Punjabpete. Good day curry lovers,A friend of a friend put me on to this lovely little diamond. I have tried and tested Indian Takeaways through-out Scotland and was sceptical at first as always.Whilst entertaining guests I had a nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach as I have been let down by the standard of the classic curry houses in Edinburgh of late.Long behold a Indian takeaway would actually arrive within the `40-45′ minute’ standard delivery time!!!When I opened the dishes I was amazed that the food was still piping hot, there was no excess oil leeking out of the containers and the pompadoms were still 100% intact?!?! Surely it couldnt get any better than this…….Well my Punjab pals its sure can! The Pakora’s or `Pakura’ as the Shapla like to call them where freshly made crispy little critters with caramalised onions mixed into the equation. I made quick work of them, but they were so light (non greasy or microwaved) I was still salavating at the thought of my main dishes. The rice was light and fluffy and seperated with ease, the chicken was melt in your mouth stuff and WAS NOT off the processed block! There was a full array of flavours, cinnamon, star of east, garlic etc each new flavour coming through a bit at a time.To round it off the delivery driver came back to the door after I had tipped him too much money?!? Punctuality, amazing dishes and an honest way of business what more could anyone ask for? I am a delighted customer, i only hope this was not beginers luck.Flawless work (keep it up)Punjab Pete
Great Food to take away.. We ordered some Bangladeshi food there tonight. The online ordering service was very fast and efficient and the food was ready in about 10-15 minutes. The naan garlic bread was good and the curries were very big portions and amazing. Rice perfectly cooked. We highly recommend Jaipuri Chicken. Will definitely be going back!
Mmmm The Tikka masala was tasty! Reasonably priced too.
