One of the best bars in Edinburgh for food, but the drinks range lets it down somewhat.On my last visit I indulged in the Balmoral Chicken, and if I was to go again, it would definitely be something I would order as it was a tantalising treat for my tongue. The Fish and Chips are also very good and the Scampi is also brilliant.The range of drinks did not include real ale, but it had the West Brewery’s St Mungo’s Lager available and also carried a Malt of the Moment offer.It is well reached with a regular bus service, despite being located in the far north of Leith, the seats on some of the tables are a tad too high as well and can cause some discomfort when trying to eat. All in all, it is a great place to get an affordable bite to eat.
