  Very Bad Experience at Maxin. Resturant wasnt that busy yet all customers seem crammed into the one corner. Service was unbelievably low. Prices were horrendous compared to portion sizes. Even the kids juice sizes are incredibly small but the prices certainly dont reflect the quality or quanity that you receive.We ordered 2 chicken curry dishes and never seen a curry that watery that you gave us a spoon … also I dont know if it was chicken as I have never seen so much gristle and black bits in such small portions of chicken.Complained and didnt pay for unsatisfactory meals although they made me pay for the rice and chips which were hardly touched.Would never set foot in this place again.

  New Maxin Takeaway. I have never tasted a chinese takeaway as bad as this!I ordered chicken chow mein and the noodles were overcooked and crunchy in places. The beansprouts, onion and chicken looked and tasted like they had been boiled rather than fried.A friend ordered sweet and sour chicken cantonese style and the chicken was as tough as old boots!Overall a very disappointing takeaway meal!

  Been to Maxin’s many, many times and, being no stranger to Chinese/Cantonise food I absolutely love the food. The salt & pepper ribs are unquestionably the best you will ever enjoy (i always order a double portion – greed I know). The dim-sum is also worth mention. Never had a bad meal here and can highly recommend.

  Service was slow. Starter okay but main dish didn’t hit the mark. Heard other customers complaining about the poor quality.
