Excellent – as usual. I am a regular and always get great service and food. The staff are always cheerful and helpful and the food is always above par. The chasni and saag paneer are excellent! Compared to the other top Indian restaurants, in my opinion, Cafe India are heads and shoulders above the rest
Great restaurant, really nice decor, very friendy staff, reasonably priced………but most importantly excellent food. Meals are a generous portion size and taste fantastic. I do have to agree however with the other reviews on here, the background music was interesting :-s! Overall well worth a visit!
I Love It…And Here’s Why. Been here many times, usually for the 3-6PM pre-theatre with a friend, and the food quality is ace. Okay, apart from one time when the staff were having training and the service was a bit slow, Cafe India is generally a slick operation. I always get the Jalapeo Bombs (battered little melts) to start, a Tender Lamb Chasni (incredibly tender!) and perhaps a Luxury Cheesecake to finish it off. For 12.95 you don’t feel robbed afterwards-quite the opposite.
Lacking Flavour. Nice decor surroundings.. strange background music.. good service..Food was bland.. lacked flavour.. a wee bit expensive !
