  Charcoals has been my go-to spot for biryani in Glasgow since the day I arrived here 2 years ago however a few recent experiences with the staff have left me reconsidering my loyalty to them. I visited a few days ago with a few friends and ordered a few Aloo paranthas with a 2 side curries. The waiter took the order and then came back to ask us if the food was to go or if we were sitting in, we naturally were sitting in since we had been served our drinks already. He then said we will have to order 2 more curries for the restaurant to be able to justify us sitting in because everyone should have one mains and one side dish. When confronted that we would like to order less instead of wasting the food by ordering extra he became very rude and tried to force us to order another dish. We decided to leave and asked him to cancel the order if possible. He said he cant do that since the order was already being prepared. So we got it packed. Not to our surprise the food was under cooked with more than half the paranthas being raw and so was the chicken in the curry. I still love their biryani but Id rather order from an app and get it home delivered than be subjected to the rudeness of their staff.
